Art print reproductions are well suited to the classic Renaissance style of Andrea del Verrocchio and his career has received considerable exposure because of his close relationships with other famous artists.

In fact, in some cases, art fans have ordered reproductions of his work without realising that Andrea del Verrocchio was even involved. For example, Annunciation is sold by retailers as a Leonardo da Vinci print, without explaining that his master also contributed considerably to this particular painting.

Paintings are naturally well suited to printed copies, much more than sculptures, certainly. That said, many Andrea del Verrocchio sculptures can also be added to your wall in the form of professional photography. Those lucky enough to get specfic opportunities to capture these masterpieces away from the crowds tend to be able to capture the lighting far better. Sculpture models can also be sought but these are harder to find and tend to be more expensive too.

Besides sculpture and painting, Andrea del Verrocchio was also highly regarded as a draughtsman. His intricate drawings are also popular as art prints, adding a touch of style but without dominating a room with colour that might not be required in some cases. His portraits of young women are particularly charming and also technically impressive - some of his pupils such as Leonardo da Vinci and Sandro Botticelli would no doubt have been inspired by his skills in this raw medium.

Renaissance art reproduction prints almost always benefit from some form of frame and inlay mat. These complex pieces require a classic finish, even when displayed in a relatively contemporary home. Alternatively, artists from a more minimalist style can go without both. The frames available vary in size, style and material, with perhaps simple wooden versions in one colour being a safe option.

Some of the most popular choices from Andrea del Verrocchio's career for art prints are his David sculpture, Annunciation in which he collaborated successfully with Leonardo da Vinci and also his well known artwork, The Baptism of Christ. Some choose these for religious purposes, others purely as a way of appreciating the technical and artistic qualities of this master.
